How do I set up voicemail?

You will need to activate this service if you have recently joined our network and have yet to use the voicemail service. More information can be found here.

Is there a limit on how many voicemail messages I can store?

Yes. All our customers can store up to 99 voicemail messages at one time. We will notify you via SMS when your mailbox reaches 75 messages and again at 99 messages.

Once you reach 99 messages, people calling you will receive an automated message that the mailbox is full, and they will be unable to leave a voicemail until you delete some of your saved messages.

How long can I Keep my Voicemail Messages?

Voicemail messages will be deleted from your mailbox after 30 days. These messages will be kept for 90 days in a backup folder and will be permanently deleted after that period.

If you want to save your voicemail messages, follow these steps:

IOS

  1. From the Home screen, select Phone

  2. Tap Voicemail

  3. Select the desired voicemail message then tap the Share icon

  4. Choose Add to Notes or Save to Files then save the voicemail

  5. To share the voicemail, select a preferred method (e.g., Messages, Mail or AirDrop)

Android

Depending on the device Android version, the Visual Voicemail app may not be present. So, if the user wants to save a voicemail, the device must be ready to do so. An option for older devices is that the user installs a visual voicemail app.
Most visual voicemail apps allow you to download a message directly to your phone. As a generic procedure:

  2. Tap the Message you want to save

  3. Tap the Three Dots icon representing the App Menu

  4. Tap Save Message to or Export to File

Your voicemail messages are given in the time zone according to your local country time. An exception will be for Australia which will be in AST (GMT+10) and USA which will appear in EST (GMT-5).

Does my plan support Apple Visual Voicemail?

Yes. From the 1st of October 2016, this feature is activated by default for all customers with an iPhone running on iOS 8.1 or later. More information can be found here

How am I notified if I have a New Voicemail Message?

  • 1 unread message: You have 1 new message. It was received at [time] ([default timezone]), on [day/date].

  • More than 1 unread message: You have [x] new messages. The last one received at [time] ([default timezone]), on [day/date]
