My Service Stopped Working

  1. Is the Data Roaming switch set to ON?

If you´re using an Android phone, you must switch your Data Roaming switch to ON when traveling. You can find the data roaming switch in your phone under Settings > Mobile Networks.

  • Restart the device.

  • From the device Settings, confirm that 1GLOBAL account is set as the default line for Mobile Data.

  • From the BetterRoaming app, check that active subscription has remaining data allowance and covers the customer's current location.

  • Ensure that Mobile Data & Data Roaming are both enabled.

  • Ensure that Airplane mode is switched OFF.

  • Confirm that end user has the latest version of the Better Roaming app.

2. Do you have coverage?
If you find yourself in an area with limited mobile coverage, or no coverage at all, you will find it difficult to access the internet. Try changing locations and make sure you have signal bars on your screen. If this doesn’t work, you can try resetting your signal by switching on Airplane Mode for a few seconds.

3. Did you switch phones?
If you have a new phone and have restored your device, you may run into problems when using the BetterRoaming app and may need to reset your account. Read more about transferring an esim here

4. Are your APN settings correct?
If you're using an Android phone check your APN configurations. It should be truphone.com.
